SuperDocs is now Typebar
Typebar, formerly SuperDocs. Same product, same team, same account. On 20 October 2026 we changed our name from SuperDocs to Typebar, and superdocs.app became typebar.ai.
Why we changed the name
Documents are where we started, and they are still our main product. As we have built, our work is growing beyond documents, into other tools and workflows where text needs precise edits. We wanted a name that fits where we are going, not only where we began. “SuperDocs” was also close to the names of other document products, so we chose a name we could own.
What the name means
A typebar is the arm inside a typewriter that strikes one letter onto the page: one precise spot, nothing else touched. That is how Typebar edits your documents. It finds the exact place that needs to change, changes only that, and leaves the rest of the document as it was.
What stays the same
- Your account, your sign-in and your documents.
- Your plan, your billing and your usage.
- Your API keys, and the API and MCP address api.superdocs.app. Integrations and MCP connections keep working with no change.
- Every superdocs.app link. It opens the same page on typebar.ai.
- Our email: hello@superdocs.app still reaches us.
What changes
- The name and the logo.
- The website is now typebar.ai.
- The app is now use.typebar.ai. You sign in there once more; after that, nothing is different.
- The docs are now docs.typebar.ai.
- Our social accounts are now @typebarai.
Questions
- Do I need to do anything?
- Only sign in once at use.typebar.ai. Nothing else.
- Will my integration or MCP setup break?
- No. api.superdocs.app, your API keys and your MCP connection keep working. If your MCP settings call the server “superdocs”, you can leave that as it is.
- Do old links still work?
- Yes. Every superdocs.app link opens the same page on typebar.ai, and will keep doing so.
- Which email address should I use?
- hello@superdocs.app, as before.
- Does this change my contract, invoices or terms?
- No. Typebar is the new trading name of the same business, run by the same owner. Existing agreements continue unchanged and there is nothing to sign again. Our Terms and Privacy Policy now use the new name.
- What should I call it?
- Typebar. If you wrote about SuperDocs, thank you. The old name still finds us.
- Is Typebar related to SuperDoc (superdoc.dev)?
- No. Typebar, formerly SuperDocs, is not related to SuperDoc (superdoc.dev).
- Is Typebar related to other products called SuperDocs?
- No. Typebar was SuperDocs at superdocs.app, and superdocs.app now opens typebar.ai.
- Is Typebar the old Typebar browser extension?
- No. Typebar, formerly SuperDocs, is an AI document editor. It is not related to the earlier Typebar browser extension.
- Who do I ask if something looks wrong?
- Email hello@superdocs.app. A person reads every message.
