Join the founding team
I built Typebar solo in about six months: backend, frontend, the agent system, billing, infra, docs. It's live and reliable, used in 50 countries and 21 languages, all word of mouth. Typebar (then SuperDocs) was invited to Y Combinator Startup School in 2026, and we've received non-dilutive credits and grants from organizations like Amazon, Microsoft, Google, Anthropic, and OpenAI. Now I'm hiring the first two people.

You own engineering with me. Not a slice of it: the whole loop, from what users need to what ships.
Ship daily: agent behavior, editor, API, the marketing site and its design. The works.
Run build-measure-learn end to end: talk to users, measure how they actually use the product, build what the measurement demands.
A master of AI coding agents, with real engineering fundamentals underneath.
The title says engineer. The trajectory is CTO-shaped.

No trick interviews, no whiteboards, no BS rounds. You apply, we send you the take-home: a hard, real, multi-part task with roughly a one-week deadline. Use every AI tool you have; that's the point. Top submissions get a live conversation with me, and everyone who completes the task hears from me personally, whatever the outcome. We use AI to help review applications; a person makes every decision. Any level of experience is welcome; there's no bar in either direction.
